How to Apply
New Students with a Disability or Long-Lasting Health Condition
- Complete an application.
- Provide documentation of your disability or health condition.
- Schedule an appointment to meet with Student Accessibility Staff to collaboratively create an accommodation plan
- Accomodation examples include but are not limited to peer mentoring support, access to nutritional breaks, alternative text, note-taking assistance, access to a distraction-reduced testing environment, test reader, test scribe, etc.
Returning Students
Students, remember accommodations must be reviewed and updated each semester. Accommodations are not retroactive. Students are responsible for engaging in ongoing communication with BSC’s Student Accessibility Office so BSC’s Student Accessibility Office can best help support students’ individual needs throughout the student’s college experience.
Residence Life Accommodations
- Residents are asked to inform the Residence Hall Coordinator or the Office of Student and Residence Life of any health concerns, allergies or medical conditions at the beginning of the year.
- Students with special accommodations requests may be required to complete the BSC Residence Life Accommodations Request Form.
